Vouched approached The Colab at a pivotal inflection point. Their new CEO, Peter Horadan, was a familiar face — a former client during his time at Lockstep, where we took the company from launch to acquisition by Sage. Peter knew exactly what a precision PR engine could do in moments that matter, and Vouched was entering one of those moments: announcing new leadership, introducing their Know Your Agent (KYA) product suite, and raising a $17M Series A.
The company needed immediate visibility, a clear narrative around agentic AI and identity verification, and a steady presence across tech, fintech, and cybersecurity press to reposition itself as the authority on identity in the age of AI.
We built a narrative that connected Vouched’s past momentum to its future ambition, using Peter’s return as a credibility anchor while elevating the company’s category-defining work in agentic AI identity verification.
Every interview, pitch, and byline was guided by senior strategic oversight, ensuring the storytelling matched the sophistication of Vouched’s technology. We treated each moment — the CEO announcement, the Series A, the KYA launch, and new industry data — as an opportunity to reinforce a single, cohesive message: Vouched is defining trust for AI agents and the next era of identity. By operating in lockstep with the executive team and timing each news cycle strategically, we created sustained momentum that carried well beyond the initial announcement.
In the first 90 days, we transformed a leadership transition into a breakout media moment. The CEO appointment gained immediate traction in outlets like WSJ Pro, GeekWire, and The Puget Sound Business Journal.
As soon as Peter was positioned publicly, we shifted directly into the Series A narrative — generating a wave of earned coverage across Axios Pro Rata, SiliconANGLE, Biometric Update, Fintech Global, Tech Funding News, Mobile ID World, and dozens of influential newsletters spanning fintech, cybersecurity, and AI. This early burst of momentum validated Vouched as a leader in the rapidly forming KYA category and created a strong foundation for the product-led storytelling that followed.
Over the following year, Vouched evolved from a company announcing a new CEO into a category-shaping voice in identity verification for AI agents. Their commentary became sought-after across topics like deepfakes, mobile ID, fraud prevention, digital identity standards, and agentic AI security.
The launch of KYA and subsequent feature releases triggered ongoing waves of tech, AI, fintech, and security coverage, establishing Vouched as one of the most visible companies in the emerging agentic identity landscape. By the end of the engagement year, the company’s leadership was regularly featured in executive profiles, industry podcasts, and expert Q+As, with Vouched shaping — not following — the conversation on AI trust and identity.
